Consumer’s Role in the Circular System — Food, Mobility & Energy
Can you play a role in shaping Lund's sustainable future? Join our interactive workshop to explore challenges and solutions in food, mobility and energy. Come curious, leave inspired.
Have you ever wondered how your daily choices, what you eat, how you get around, or how you use energy at home, connect to the bigger picture of sustainability? This workshop invites you to explore exactly that.
Join us for an engaging and hands-on session where we dive into the real-world challenges and opportunities around sustainable consumption in three key areas: food, mobility, and energy. Whether you are a student, a professional, or simply someone curious about sustainability, this workshop is for you.
Together, we will explore what sustainable consumption could look like in our daily lives, reflect on what makes it challenging, and brainstorm ideas for change. The conversations we have will not stay within these walls. Your input will feed into research and help inform local policies that aim to make sustainable living more accessible for everyone.
What to expect:
The workshop runs for one hour and combines digital and interactive tools to create a dynamic and inclusive experience. You will start with a short icebreaker, then choose one of three themes, food, mobility, or energy, to explore in a small group discussion. Groups will then share their key findings before we wrap up with a collective reflection.
Date & Location:
13 April, 10:00–11:00 Hörsalen, Pufendorf Institute, Biskopsgatan 3, 223 62 Lund
About the organisers:
The workshop is led by researchers from the Sparbanken Skåne Centre for Sustainable Enterprising at Lund University, a collaboration between LTH and School of Economics and Management (LUSEM), each with expertise in their respective themes. Launched at the SCORAI Conference 2025, this workshop series has already brought together researchers and students in lively discussions, consistently receiving warm and encouraging feedback.
We look forward to welcoming you - come curious, leave inspired!
The event is part of Sustainability Week 2026, which runs between 13-18 April. Sustainability Week is an annual event in Lund organised as a joint venture by Lund University and Lund municipality. The week serves as a platform for bringing together ideas, raising public awareness and for inspiring sustainable change.
