Welcome to join this CIRCLE seminar with Peter Knorringa.

Frugal innovation in sustainability thinking: from niche to mainstream?

The Norm Life Cycle framework is a useful tool to imagine how frugal innovation can become more generally recognized as a key component in building sustainable futures. The seminar explores a research and action agenda on mainstreaming frugal innovation in sustainability thinking.

Peter Knorringa is a Professor of Private Sector & Development at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is also academic director of the International Centre for Frugal Innovation, which is part of a consortium between Delft University of Technology, Leiden University, and Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
