Welcome to the Innovation Portal

All successful universities have nowadays enlarged and extended their objectives for their activities. Besides research and education innovative capacity and capabilities are put high on the university agenda.
Thus, the main tasks of the university are threefold:

• Education
• Research
• Innovation

The same is valid for LTH, which has a long tradition in linking its activities to innovation. This is for example demonstrated by the Ideon Science Park, erected close to LTH 25 years ago.

With this Innovation Portal, LTH gather information on departments, divisions and people within the faculty that have innovation and innovations as a major activity. All contributing to research and education in the field of innovation. The Innovation Portal gathers information on these different competences, activities and  events, in order to make them more visible and easier to access.

The Innovation Portal is a meeting place for researchers, educators, practitioners and society and of course for innovators. It strives at stimulating cross disciplinary activities and contacts, and furthermore to make a meeting point for future potential innovations, as well as new research and educational initiatives in the area.
