Janna Alvedalen

Janna is a PhD Candidate at Innovation Engineering and CIRCLE (Centre for Innovation, Research and Competence in the Learning Economy). She holds a M.Sc. in Entrepreneurship - New Venture Creation, School of Economics and Management at Lund University. Janna is also enrolled into Program in Innovation and Growth (PING) at the Norwegian Research School in Innovation (NORSI). Previously she worked at Sten K. Johnson Centre for Entrepreneurship at the faculty of Business Administration as a project assistant and some years in design and IT industries. Her supervisors are professor Åsa Lindholm-Dahlstrand and assistant professor Magnus Nilsson.

Janna’s research interests are systemic view on entrepreneurship (Entrepreneurial systems/ecosystems), innovation systems and technology-based firms with current focus on Life Science sector.
